Delivering the 22nd convocation address at the National Institute of Technology-Calicut (NIT-C) on Saturday (August 29, 2026), he said modern engineering was deeply interconnected, and the boundaries between traditional disciplines were becoming increasingly blurred.
Speaking on the occasion, Mathew P. Tharaniyil, president of Bloom Companies, USA, said entrepreneurship was not an easy path, but every challenge was an opportunity to learn, grow, and build something meaningful. A total of 2,134 students were conferred degrees, the highest number of graduates in the history of NIT-C.
