Karnataka’s five flagship guarantee schemes have reached every eligible beneficiary across Raichur district, according to Vice-President of the State Guarantee Schemes Implementation Authority and former MLA P.T. Parameshwar Naik.
Addressing a press conference in Raichur on November 3 following a review meeting on implementation of the guarantee schemes, Mr. Naik stated that ₹4,805.24 crore had been spent in the district up to July 2026 to ensure the seamless execution of the welfare measures. Providing a detailed break-up of the expenditure, Mr.
Naik informed that the largest share of the funds was allocated to the Gruha Lakshmi scheme, under which ₹2,744.81 crore was disbursed. Mr. Naik informed that prior to the 2023 Assembly elections, the Congress party had promised to deliver the benefits of these five schemes to the doorsteps of every eligible citizen.
”As promised, we have implemented these schemes effectively across the State, including in Raichur district. Strict measures have been put in place by the State government to ensure that benefits reach the targeted beneficiaries without any leakages” he said.
Mr. Naik added that former chief minister Siddaramaiah launched the guarantees immediately after the party assumed power, and Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has continued to extend the benefits to all eligible recipients.
He reiterated that the State Government remains steadfast in maintaining its commitments to the public.
