Abhishek Bachchan was right behind him, keeping a protective eye on his father, as he often does during these weekly fan meetings.
Security staff were also stationed outside the residence. Earlier on Sunday, Amitabh shared that discomfort in his hand had held up his plan to personally write back to fans who had sent him gifts. In a Diwali note posted on Tumblr, he thanked his well-wishers and apologised for the delay.
