The Department of Radiation Oncology at Christian Medical College (CMC) organized the 16th Annual Conference of the Indian Brachytherapy Society (IBSCON 2026) on its Vellore campus. The inauguration was led by Dr. Vijay Anand Reddy, senior consultant and director of Apollo Cancer Hospital, Chennai, and the conference was framed around the theme “Re‑imagining Brachytherapy in Comprehensive Cancer Care: Precision, Personalisation, and Compassion.”
