Congress’s dirty politics against CPI(M) only serves to strengthen BJP, says CPI(M) leader Brinda Karat

Lashing out at the Congress party over its stand on the Directorate of Enforcement ’s (ED) moves against Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] leaders, including Leader of the Opposition Pinarayi Vijayan, senior leader Brinda Karat said that Congress’s dirty politics against the CPI(M) only serves to strengthen the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

She was speaking at an event to commemorate former CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury, organised by the AKG Centre for Research and Studies in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday. “Central agencies are targeting leaders of opposition political parties.

The CJP exposed the “Vishwa Guru” as a failure. Mr. Modi and his Ministers must clarify whether they subscribe to the RSS pledge or the pledge enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The Prime Minister labelled those who oppose them as “Dimagi Naxals” (intellectual Naxals).

In turn, those who oppose democrats should be called “Dimagi Sanghis” (intellectual Sanghis),” she said.
