Thousands of fans gathered at the venue to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars. However, as the crowd grew, several people with entry passes were reportedly turned away. Addressing the fans who had to return home disappointed, he wrote in Tamil, “It pains me deeply that thousands of fans who had tickets in hand were unable to get in and had to turn back.” The ‘Idli Kadai’ actor said he did not want to get into whose fault it was and accepted responsibility for the lapse.

He added, “I take full responsibility and express my regret.
