The Greater Chennai Police registered cases against DMK MP A. Raja and MLA P.K. Sekarbabu and the Kallakurichi police booked MLA Vasantham K. Karthikeyan for their alleged derogatory remarks against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C.

Raja based on a complaint filed by one Karthik, alleging that the MP made derogatory remarks against Minister for Energy Resources and Law C.T.R.

Separately, the North Beach police registered a case against Harbour MLA and former Minister Sekarbabu for addressing Chief Minister in a derogatory manner. Further, the Kallakurichi police have booked a case against DMK’s Rishivandhiyam MLA Mr.

Karthikeyan under four sections for making derogatory remarks against Mr. Vijay during the protest on Saturday. The case was booked following a complaint lodged by a TVK functionary.
