In Chennai, searches were conducted at four locations – the residence of Mr. Nehru in Mylapore and that of his brother Ravichandran, besides two other places linked to them. In Tiruchi, the DVAC team, led by a Deputy Superintendent of Police, launched the operation around 6.30 a.m.
at the former Minister’s residence at Thillai Nagar. Searches were under way at multiple locations linked to the former Minister, sources said. However, the specifics of the case being investigated in the search were not clear yet.
