Comprehensive News & Policy Report

The trailer of Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming film, Eetha, was unveiled by the makers on Friday (October 30, 2026). Helmed by Chhaava director Laxman Utekar, the film also stars Randeep Hooda, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Siddharth Jadhav, Ishtiyak Khan and Anant Joshi in pivotal roles.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the biopic, which is based on the life of legendary Lavani dancer from Maharashtra, Vithabai Narayangaonkar, known for her iconic Lavani and Tamasha performances. Shraddha steps into her role with a certain rigour as a glimpse is given into different phases of her life when different men encouraged her to be a Lavani dancer.

The film promises to be a hard-hitting chronicle of her life, presented in a larger-than-life manner. Speaking about it, Shraddha said in a statement, “It’s a story about a woman whose art, courage and individuality make her unforgettable.

The more Laxman sir told me about the character, the more I felt connected to her world. Playing this role has been an incredibly exciting experience, and I am thrilled for audiences to discover her journey on the big screen.” Laxman added, “Eeetha is the story of an artist who became a legacy.

We have brought together authenticity, emotion and scale to create a cinematic experience that audiences can truly immerse themselves in.” The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Laxman Utekar, and presented by Maddock Films and Kathputli Creations.

It will be released in theatres on December 4.
