As per a statement from the Gachibowli police, after completing the marathon and receiving his medal, Gopi suddenly collapsed while heading to have breakfast. “Event organisers immediately shifted him to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead at around 8.45 a.m.
According to preliminary information, he suffered a heart attack,” said the police.
