Keralam CM launches nature festival logo

Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan formally introduced the new visual identity for the International Nature Festival of Keralam, a flagship event to be organized by the state’s Forest Department. The unveiling took place on a Wednesday in Thiruvananthapuram, with Forest Minister Shibu Baby John and Tourism and Culture Minister P.C. Vishnunadh jointly presenting the festival’s brand‑concept brochure alongside senior officials.

The festival is slated for February 2027 and will be overseen by the Forest Department, with the logo rollout marking the first public branding effort. Secretary (Forests and Wildlife) K. Biju, Head of Forest Force Rajesh Ravindran and other senior officers were present, underscoring the government’s coordinated approach to the event’s planning and promotion.

The initiative aims to showcase Kerala’s rich biodiversity and promote sustainable tourism, targeting both domestic and international visitors. By highlighting forest conservation and cultural heritage, the festival is expected to generate economic opportunities for local communities, bolster eco‑tourism, and reinforce the state’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
