Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is winning hearts on the Internet after breaking into the famous song rendered by Kishore Kumar, Khwab Ho Tum Ya Koi Haqeeqat, a video of which he shared on Saturday (September 12, 2026) night on social media platform X.

"Prime Minister Ibrahim has in the past confessed to being a fan of Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar, both Indian singing legends," Shahrizan Salian, editor with Malaysia's New Straits Times, who is in India to cover the BRICS Summit, told the PTI.
Mr. Ibrahim does not know Hindi, yet he managed to sing along to a piano tune without any visual aid to the lyrics. "It all came from his heart. Music has no language," Mr. Salian said.
