Five of the appointed members are women.The reconstitution was notified on September 16 under Section 3(1) of the Cinematograph Act, 1952, read with Rule 3 of the Cinematograph (Certification) Rules, 2024, according to the ministry.The announcement names the board members but does not announce an appointment to the chairperson’s post or specify which members have been retained from the previous board.
