The bypolls are scheduled for October 6, with counting of votes on October 9.Pradhan is a new face, while Chowdhury is a former MLA, PTI reported.The announcement came after an earlier rebel TMC faction said it would support Mamata Banerjee, potentially strengthening the party's position ahead of the bypolls.
