Actor Ritika Singh has cautioned her followers against a Facebook page allegedly operating under her name and collecting money through paid subscriptions. The account reportedly charges users Rs 400 every month, despite having no official association with the actress.

According to the actress, the account operates through a monthly payment model and has already attracted people willing to pay for its content. She pointed out that the page does not carry a verification badge. Its creators have also misspelled her name, which she believes should alert users to its questionable authenticity.

The actress urged people to check account details before making payments or subscribing to profiles claiming to represent celebrities. In her Instagram video, Ritika Singh directly addressed the confusion surrounding the impersonating page.

She emphasized that her verified profile is the only account she personally uses to share updates and content.“I am sharing this video to make it clear that the profile you are currently seeing is my only official account.

This is my only verified account with a blue tick. Everything posted here is shared by me. However, I recently came across another page on Facebook that has been created in my name. They are running it on a subscription model, charging Rs 400 a month.

People are actually paying for it. The page is not verified, and they have not even spelt my name correctly. Those who are paying for it should be a little more careful with their money,” she said in her Instagram video.

The actress explained that she decided to speak publicly because she did not want her followers to continue believing the Facebook page was genuine. She also deliberately avoided sharing its link. According to her, promoting the account further could draw more attention to the people operating it.Instead, Ritika Singh asked users to exercise caution whenever they encounter profiles claiming to represent her.

She also requested followers to report the suspicious Facebook page. The appeal was aimed at helping prevent further confusion and potentially getting the account taken down.Coming to her work front, Ritika Singh first gained recognition through her performance in the Tamil film 'Irudhi Suttru'.
