In a first, Punjab Police secures extradition of gangster from Europe
Punjab Police, aided by central agencies, secured the extradition of fugitive gangster Amritpal Singh alias Amrit Dalam from the Republic of Moldova, marking the state’s first extradition from a European nation. The operation, dubbed Eastern Reach, concluded after a six‑month international manhunt and brings a suspect wanted in 21 cases back to India.
