Two more Kuki-Zo women gunned down by assailants in Manipur
Two Kuki‑Zo women were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the remote village of Leijangphai, Tamenglong district, Manipur, on Tuesday, adding to a series of attacks on the community this week. The killings have heightened ethnic tensions and prompted condemnation from the Kuki‑Zo Council and calls for restraint from the Naga Village Authority.
