Centre treating Bihar as stepchild: Tejashwi Yadav on flood-related issues
Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav on September 13, 2026 accused the Bihar state and central governments of neglecting flood victims and urged a national disaster declaration and compensation package. He highlighted that over 48 lakh people across 87 blocks in 15 districts remain affected while the state’s contingency fund has been diverted to salaries.
