Gauhati High Court seeks clarity on rehab for evicted people in Assam
The Gauhati High Court has asked the Assam government to explain its plan for rehabilitation and compensation for people displaced during a September 2024 eviction drive. Justice Devashis Barua set a deadline of October 6 for government departments to submit their positions.
