Goyal bats for common Brics trade platform, women-focused fund
Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal urged BRICS to create a common trade platform and operationalise a Women’s Advancement Fund to help small and women‑led exporters access credit, buyers and predictable rules. He highlighted India’s progress in women’s financial inclusion and called for sector‑specific delegations, electronic documentation and expanded services trade within the bloc.
