SC sends Vedanta-linked Cairn’s ₹5.25-crore SEBI penalty case back to SAT
The Supreme Court has sent the SEBI penalty case against Cairn India, now part of Vedanta, back to the Securities Appellate Tribunal for fresh examination. The court ordered a six‑month review of the disputed buyback transaction and related alleged fraud.
