Ashamed at delays, won’t attend inauguration: Nitin Gadkari on Mumbai-Goa highway

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said he feels ashamed of the prolonged delays in the Mumbai‑Goa highway and announced he will skip its inauguration, vowing to blacklist contractors and suspend officials. He highlighted that the project is 93‑94% complete and promised a visit in October to assess the remaining work.
