Forest Department withdraws case against farmer over tree felling on ‘patta’ land
The Kerala Forest Department withdrew a case against farmer Chackochan for cutting trees on his patta land in Pandippara, Idukki, following intervention by Forest Minister Shibu Baby John. The minister also ordered the return of seized timber and tools to the landowner.
