Rashtriya Loktantrik Party candidate Omprakash Bawri claimed he received zero votes in Rajasthan's urban local body elections and lodged a complaint alleging vote tampering, while a separate BJP candidate in Parbatsar municipality recorded only one vote.

After the Rajasthan civic body election results, Congress candidates were housed at Asithiriya Resort in Bassi, but several left on September 12 citing insufficient rooms and food. The BJP kept its candidates at Bhanwar Resort, while both parties’ nominees remain confined pending the mayoral nomination, now delayed due to re‑polling in five Jaipur booths.
The 2026 Rajasthan local body elections have concluded with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leading the tally, followed by the Indian National Congress and a sizable number of independents. Smaller parties such as the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) also secured a handful of wards.
