Pralhad Joshi seeks suspension of Mysuru inspector over Ganeshotsava remarks
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on September 13, 2026 demanded the suspension of Circle Inspector Dhananjay of T. Narasipura, Mysuru district, alleging that the officer threatened members of a Ganesh Mandal during a peace committee meeting. Joshi said the inspector’s remarks aimed to curb the Ganeshotsava procession near mosques and amounted to intimidation of Hindu youths.
