The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has proposed a change in the 2027 Madhyamik examination schedule. They suggest rescheduling the exams from February 15 to 25 to March 2 to 16. This change is due to the deployment of teachers for the upcoming Census exercise. The Census will take place from January 25 to February 28 next year.
The KPCC chief said that the review would also examine the State government’s response to concerns raised by teachers and graduates, including job insecurity, challenges in the education system and issues affecting their professional interests.
