Allahabad HC seeks Uttar Pradesh govt’s reply over Saharanpur Mosque demolition, stays ₹6.41 crore damage recovery
The Allahabad High Court stayed the recovery of ₹6.41 crore in damages and asked the Uttar Pradesh government to respond to the demolition of a mosque at the Saharanpur Collectorate complex. The order was issued while hearing a petition by Mohammad Tanveer Ahmad challenging eviction proceedings under the Public Premises Act.
