Several fans have alleged that theatres removed 'Scene' from already-booked evening and night slots and replaced it with Nayanthara's 'Mookuthi Amman 2.' The reported changes have sparked questions about distribution practices, theatre allocation and the treatment of audiences who had already secured tickets.

The issue has now moved beyond screen counts, with fans demanding transparency from theatre owners and distributors.'Scene' fans allege houseful bookings cancelled as Mookuthi Amman 2 gets replacement shows The controversy gained attention after fans claimed that shows at Rohini Silver Screens and Varadharaja Cinemas were cancelled despite having sold out.

One fan questioned Rohini Silver Screens after receiving a refund notification for two tickets booked for the November 6 morning show. "Cancelling bookings for a show that has already gone HOUSEFULL and reallocating the same show to another film is absolutely unacceptable," the fan wrote.

Another claimed that Friday's 8 PM and 11:30 PM 'Scene' shows were cancelled and ticket amounts refunded, alleging that 'Mookuthi Amman 2' had been allotted those slots. 'Scene' distribution row raises questions over Red Giant Movies and theatre allocation Some fans have also pointed fingers at Red Giant Movies, alleging that the distribution network is influencing theatre allocations in Tamil Nadu.

One post claimed that the issue was not merely about show timings but about distributors controlling screens and limiting opportunities for competing films. Another fan questioned why 'Mookuthi Amman 2' was receiving comparable booking visibility despite allegedly weaker online trends.

However, these remain allegations circulating on social media, and no independently confirmed explanation for the reported cancellations has emerged. 'Scene' fans demand transparency as Diwali distribution competition intensifies The controversy has also prompted fans to question whether theatre owners are facing pressure over show allocations.

"The audience deserves transparency," one post stated, calling for healthy competition and allowing viewers to decide a film's success. With 'Scene' and 'Mookuthi Amman 2' arriving for Diwali, the dispute has added another layer to the release competition.

Whether the reported cancellations reflect distribution decisions or other scheduling issues remains unclear, but the debate has already turned into a larger discussion about fairness in Tamil cinema's theatrical business.
