Nitesh ji ek bohot hi acche director hai; pehle unhone achhi filmein banayi hai. Sangeet bohot ehem bhoomika nibhata hai; ek hisaab se woh backbone hota hai. Iss film ke jo bhi sangeet maine sunna hai, usmein kuch gaanon ne mujhe thoda sa disappoint kiya.”He explained that the songs should have captured the local flavour of Ayodhya and Mithila, which he found ‘missing’.

He added that he is not an authority on music and was sharing his view only as a listener.Music draws wider criticism The music and background score are by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman, who have teamed up for the first time.

Lahri is not the only one to raise concerns, as the music has been criticised on and off social media. Most recently, the song ‘Mangal Rang’ faced backlash for its perceived Sufi-Islamic Qawwali influences.Release plan The film is being released in two parts.

The first part has arrived in theatres today, ahead of Diwali, while the second is slated for Diwali 2028. Get the latest Bollywood & Entertainment News, and more. Download the TOI app. Give your child the gift of confidence!
