After a quiet start on Friday, the film picked up speed on Saturday and Sunday, giving its makers reason to feel optimistic. Topping his list is 'Thamma' with Rs 24 crore, followed by 'Dream Girl 2' at Rs 9.75 crore, 'Dream Girl' at Rs 9.50 crore, 'Bala' at Rs 9.25 crore and 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' at Rs 8.75 crore.'Udta Teer' plot, director and cast 'Udta Teer' marks the directorial debut of Akash A Kaushik, who earlier worked as a writer on 'Housefull 4', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'.

Ayushmann plays a Pakistani spy who loses his memory in a blast and wakes up convinced he is an officer with India’s Counter-Terrorism Squad. Pulled into a cross-border espionage mission, he stumbles through one chaotic situation after another, with his mistaken identity fuelling most of the humour.

The film is produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, and features Sara Ali Khan opposite Khurrana.
