The Uttar Pradesh State Cabinet, presided over by the Chief Minister, has sanctioned the comprehensive operational guidelines for the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (MYUVA), an ambitious youth entrepreneurship initiative targeting the establishment of 1,00,000 new micro, small, and medium enterprises annually across the state.
Under the provisions of the scheme, trained and qualified youth holding certificates or diplomas from recognized ITIs, polytechnics, skill development missions, or universities will be provided collateral-free and interest-free loans up to ₹5 lakh for setting up new manufacturing or service ventures. Upon timely repayment of the first-stage loan, beneficiaries will be eligible for escalated financial assistance up to ₹10 lakh with 50 percent interest subvention.
The state government has partnered with nationalized banks, SIDBI, and regional rural banks to establish single-window digital approval within 15 working days. Dedicated district enterprise facilitation cells will offer end-to-end support ranging from project report preparation to GST registration and electricity connections.
Officials noted that the initiative will give a massive impetus to grassroots industrialization and self-employment opportunities across eastern UP, Bundelkhand, and the Purvanchal economic corridor.
