Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on Sunday conferred Uzbekistan's highest state honour, the Order of Oliy Darajali Dustlik, by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his two-day visit to the Central Asian country. PM Modi expressed gratitude to Uzbekistan and its people after receiving the award. He said he was honoured to receive the distinction and dedicated it to the enduring ties between India and Uzbekistan.

PM also expressed hope that friendship between the two countries would continue to grow.

President Mirziyoyev praised PM Modi's leadership and his international standing.
