Fair eyeing to ‘educate Sanatani people about spirituality, culture’ to be held in Kanpur

Aiming to educate and sensitise communities about spiritual and Sanatan culture, a fair will be organised between November 26-30 in Kanpur, where charitable works rendered by Sanatani Hindu spiritual organisations will be shared, with themes of the fair evolving around educating the people about the importance of preserving forests and ecology for sustainable environment, promoting patriotism, and respecting parents, teachers and women.

“The fair will be held between November 26 and 30, 2026, in Kanpur. It will showcase the charitable workers rendered by Hindu spiritual organisations. Apart from that, the fair will educate the people about the importance of preserving forests and ecology for a sustainable environment, promoting patriotism, and respecting parents, teachers and women. The services rendered by the Hindu Spiritual Organisations and Community organisations that are participating in the Fairs are exhibited in their individual stalls and in the central hall. The services rendered by the participant organisations will be classified under the six themes,” said Amarnath Geetanuragi, associated with the Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation (HSSF).

He added that a consolidated statement of the same is prepared to showcase the volume of services rendered and displayed, which will impact visitors and the media. “The objective of the fair is to correct an unfair perception about a majority population of the country and build a proper image of India that tallies with reality to enable the country, which is emerging as a global power, to play its rightful role in the world. The fair, which was initially an event, has now transformed into a movement,” he said.
