A retired Indian Air Force Group Captain, Amit Kumar Gupta, who served in Operation Safed Sagar during the 1999 Kargil War, was allegedly attacked with an iron rod after a parking altercation at the M3M Magnum Business Park in Sector 58, Gurgaon, police said on Monday. The incident was reported by the victim, who said the assault occurred when a parking attendant, after confronting him about reversing his car, struck him repeatedly on the head and left arm before fleeing.
