‘Shouldn’t wait for Satya Niketan-like incident’: Gurgaon’s mushrooming PGs back under lens

After the fatal collapse of a student hostel in Delhi’s Satya Niketan, Haryana authorities have stepped up enforcement against illegal paying‑guest (PG) accommodations in Gurgaon, sealing dozens of premises and urging stricter action. A recent HSVP survey identified 453 PGs and guesthouses in residential zones, prompting multiple sealing drives and a review by the Haryana Human Rights Commission.
